At Robb Kelly Recovery Group, we offer a complete turnkey process with everything that is needed to recover from addiction and alcoholism. We treat clients from all walks of life and we will work with anyone who desperately wants to recover. Robb Kelly has always used the phrase: “you can’t buy our services.” There have been hundreds of people who have walked through our door with their own agenda – but we will only treat the real alcoholic – the chronic alcoholic who can’t control his drinking and has lost the power of choice.
At Robb Kelly Recovery Group, we focus on healing the body, mind, and spirit of our clients. Robb Kelly created our entire treatment process, and philosophy.
He is constantly reminding our clients that the real problem is our thinking, not our drinking. When we can change our thought pattern – we change our behavior.
Based on Dr. Kelly’s own experiences working with addicts and alcoholics over the last 20 years, combined with a PhD in psychology, and as a recovered alcoholic himself – he is a triple threat against the disease of addiction. The addiction model and philosophy we use at Robb Kelly Recovery Group was developed entirely by Dr. Kelly utilizing Neuro-Linguistic programming, Somatic Experiencing Techniques, and behavior observation.
We encourage our clients to wake up early and start their day with promise and gratitude.
The morning routine of one of our clients will start with a spiritual connection and conversation regarding plans for the day, ego and control, and purposefulness. They are asked to look in the mirror and speak thoughts of positivity and encouragement to their inner self. We believe in the power of words and encourage our clients to transition their negative self-talk to positive self-talk. We ask them to continue this spiritual connection and conversation throughout the day.
When a client arrives at our office, they are quickly assessed based purely on physical and behavior observations. The subject matter of sessions will vary daily – but the purpose of every coaching session is to alter the client’s thinking and study and redirect their behavior.
Dr. Kelly knows that a client will act differently around him and in his office, then they would around a peer and in their own environment. Sober coaches continue to study the behavior of our clients and look for any behavior changes – large or small – that could lead to relapse.
Our clients have access to our sober coaches throughout the day and are required to check in every four hours. We like to keep our clients accountable and are also readily available to our client if they need us.
